Sensible Babywearing
#babywearing allows you to do *almost* everything. However, there are limits.
The freedom of having your hands free is wonderful. The general recommendation is you can do anything with your baby in a carrier that you could safely do holding your baby in arms.
Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines. They have designed their product to be used in a particular way and safety should be an integral part of that design.
Be aware of your baby’s proximity to hot or sharp objects. Remember they have independent movement of arms and legs and are closer the things in front of you than you are.
Remember you have different balance and movement, just as you do during pregnancy. Consider your view below the baby is blocked by their body.
Baby carriers do not replace safety equipment like car seats, seat belts, bike seats etc.
Baby carriers are intended for use by adults and older children as they go about typical domestic and leisure activities.
