Not Broken

Why do we not honour the truth about what our newborns need?

As Kittie Franz put it so beautifully:

"Remember, you are not managing an inconvenience; You are raising a human being"

A gardener knows a seedling needs intensive care to grow into a healthy plant.

A baker knows their sour dough loaf needs the right conditions to rise.

And a mother knows instinctively that their infant needs to stay close, day and night; feed long and often, that this baby seeks attachment.

Our babies are not broken: society is. Caring for infants is not an interruption of life ... it is life!

Our babies are not broken.
